FAMILY BUSINESS WITH TRADITION
The 4th generation has been at the helm of the Rössli since May 2014. The sisters Angela and Shila Christen took over the traditional inn on the village square in Stansstad from their father Hans Christen.
In addition to the two siblings, father Hans can still often be found in the house. As a legendary and well-known host, 'Rössli Hans' still personally looks after the guests.
The Rössli crew consists of seven other long-term employees. Including the renowned chef Toni Mechado, who has been awarded 14 Gault Millau points.

A HOUSE WITH HISTORY
The Hotel & Restaurant Rössli is the oldest commercial building in Stansstad. It was built in 1614 in the village center. Although the house was burned down by the passing French in 1798, it was rebuilt just a few years later.
Until the 20th century, there was a butcher's shop and bakery on the ground floor, where the restaurant is today. It has now become a cozy restaurant and hotel on the upper floors.
